To view your current usage, upgrade your plan or set quotas, go to the Usage & Subscription page in the Dashboard. To control your costs and ensure that you don't exceed your budget, you can set quotas on your account. Quotas are limits on the number of messages your assistants can send. We implement two kinds of quotas that you can set:
Hard Quotas
Hard quotas are hard limits on the number of messages your assistants can send. If you exceed your hard quota, your assistants will stop sending messages until the next billing cycle. Hard quotas are useful if you want to ensure that you don't exceed your budget.
You can not set monthly hard quotas from the dashboard if you installed monoloq from the Shopify App Store.
Soft Quotas
Soft quotas are also limits on the number of messages your assistants can send. However, if you exceed your soft quota, your assistants will continue to send messages in existing conversations but it will not start new conversations. This way, you can limit costs while providing a continuous experience to your customers. Soft quotas are useful if you want to ensure that you don't exceed your budget but still want to provide a continuous experience to your customers.
We recommend setting your soft quota to 80% of your hard quota. This way, you can ensure that you don't exceed your budget while still providing a continuous experience to your customers. Each quota value can be set on a daily and monthly basis.
Total Quota
To protect a store from being overcharged, we set a total quota on your account. This is the maximum number of messages that can be sent from your assistant. To increase your total quota, please contact us at support@monoloq.ai
