This article describes the feature settings available for your Monoloq shopping assistant. Customize your assistant by enabling or disabling the following features:

Product recommendations

Enable or disable the assistant's ability to recommend products to customers.

  • true: Allow the assistant to recommend products.
  • false: Do not allow the assistant to recommend products.
Disable this feature if you want to use the assistant mostly for customer support and FAQs.

Recommend unpublished products

Control whether the assistant can recommend unpublished products, given that product recommendations are enabled. This setting is useful if you want to test your assistant's product recommendations on a test store for instance.

  • true: Allow the assistant to recommend unpublished products.
  • false: Do not allow the assistant to recommend unpublished products.
This setting only has an effect if the product recommendations feature is enabled.

Search website

Determine if the assistant can search your website to find additional information on your website. Whenever the assistant retrieves a response to a clients inquiry from your website, it will display a link to the corresponding source page. If you disable this feature, the Assistant will only have access to information from your Knowledge Base.

  • true: Allow the assistant to search your website for information.
  • false: Do not allow the assistant to search your website for information.

Order Tracking

Enable or disable the assistant's ability to provide real-time order tracking updates to customers.

  • true: Allow the assistant to access order tracking information from your Shopify store.
  • false: Do not allow the assistant to access order tracking information.

This feature is automatically activated when creating a Monoloq assistant for your Shopify store, but can be disabled if you prefer not to offer this service to your customers.
